Electronic Door Lock

I recently purchased an RV lock electronic door lock as my stock lock broke from the inside when I was trying to open the door. When I installed the lock I could not get the door to close with the new lock unless I was outside pushing on the door. Anyone else encounter this problem?

You can adjust the striker plate on the door frame and then it will probably close easier. That is the metal catch on the door frame where the dead bolt and the door catch slide into when shutting the door. Loosen the 2 screws and then you can move the striker plate out a tiny bit then tighten the screws back down. Your door should catch much easier. No two lock sets are ever the same and alignments will always need some adjusting.

Good luck.
