new Montana owners

Hi everyone john and judie here. I go by my handle of Mountain High Top… My wife Judie and I are proud owners of a new used 2014 Montana 3625 RE. we just sold our Laredo and decided to go a little bigger and newer with our Montana… we live in Kuna, Idaho and usually just travel the 11 Western states with our rigs. my horse that I pull my Montana with is a 2010 2500 Ram. with a Cummings diesel. I am a retired heavy semi over the road trucker so I am feeling right at home with our new fiver…. maybe we will meet some of you out on the road and we can share stories of our adventures

Welcome Aboard John and Judie! You have found the right place to learn about your new to you Montana. You have a good unit there and glad you decided on a Montana. Think about joining us next July at the Montana Owners Central Plains Regional Rally for our rally. It's a small rally but we have a lot of fun and enjoy each other's company during a week to touring the area, craft sessions, plenty of food experiences and just plain camaraderie for all during a week. Also think about the National Fall Rally which takes place in September yearly. Maybe we will meet somewhere along the way also. Again, Welcome Aboard and enjoy you Montana.

Thank you. Even though we are seasoned fivers, going on 6 yrs with are other fiver (Mustang Sally) this fiver Monte’ is bigger heavier and as more bells and whistles to get used to… my driving heavy semi experience doesn’t change (muscle memory) but my trip planning has to take into account my new land yachts size.. there aren’t too many new experiences that will stump me. i have been places with bigger rigs in my career that i have seen most backing scenarios…. i love challenges of doing what we as fiver owners can do rather easily and others stand there and say “How did he get that in there”. i applaud all of you that vacation campers and full timers that see those challenges every time you make or break camp. I look forward to chatting with you here as part of a unique group of drivers that can do what others don’t dare do but in there
dreams.
