Solar panels

Can I use a 380 watt residential solar panel to keep my pair of 6volt golf cart batteries charged?

How many batteries can a 300w solar panel charge?

Google this. What output voltage is a residential solar panel. From what I read they are 12 or 24 volts and both can be used.

I know that my rig has a direct solar panel port wired to the batteries using no external devices.

A 300 watt solar panel can charge a 12 volt battery and the time it takes depends on the state of battery discharge and the irradiance level at their solar panel location. With an irradiance of 5 peak sun hours per day a 300 watt solar panel will produce 1500 watt-hours per day.Jun 27, 2021

Yes you can!
Most residential panels are 46 VDC open circuit, 36 VDC at rated load. That panel will need to be regulated via a "solar controller" Victron is the industry leader in MPPT controllers. Amazon has a 100/20 that will do you fine...

Russ,

That panel should work. You also need a charge controller connected between the panel and your battery bank.
