I have a 2000 3250 with the kitchen drain and tank. The handle for the kitchen is between the axles. Blow out ripped the handle off in the open position so now I attached a valve to the main drain ... better that way.

Galley gray water drain

We have a 2019 3120rl. The Galley drain is located next to the center leveling actuator driver side.

ronboy, Short answer is yes. and that caused me problems because that wasn't shown to me at orientation on delivery, or when I took it in for service complaining that the valve wasn't correctly closing.

There is a second valve, right to the left of the kitchen slide. Put your hand into the hole on the underside right where the rounded aluminium skirt ends, and you will find it there

2nd drain valve handle

We have a 2018 3120 rl, and you’ve been told correctly that the galley gray tank valve handle is basically above the drain pipe. I let the galley tank fill up and use that water to flush the line after I empty the black water tank. The other gray water tank I leave open, allowing us to shower at will and run the washing machine. Works for us!

To answer a previous ?. I got the part# off of a sticker on one of my tanks. I looked up that part # and found out its capacity (I believe it was 48 gallons) . So as a test I dumped full 5 gallon buckets of water in that tank, stopping at 11 buckets. It took them all. So you tell me what its capacity is ?

Just ordered a Valterra termination valve. Going to install and then open the galley valve and leave open. Of course, the dealership fixed the galley valve and currently, I cannot open it - LOL.

On our new 3121RL the kitchen gray tank handle is right next to the center leveling jack. Easy to get to when the slide is out, but was very difficult to find. Keystone told me to look above the axle, which on our model was nowhere near where I finally found it. They told me there should be a label on the side of the unit indicating where the tank handle is, but of course there wasn't one!

We have a 2019 Monty also and had the same problem locating the drain valve for the galley tank. There really is a separate drain valve but someone must have laid awake all night figuring out a way to hide it. Ours is just ahead of the leveling jack very near the top. It is almost impossible to see even laying on the ground with a light but it is there if you look long and hard. There is no label on the side of the camper like the older unit had, but it really is there.
While on the subject of drain valves on ours the black water valve was located directly below the city water hookup which allowed water to drip on it which resulted in the cable to rust on the very first trip. Relocated the handle out from below the water hookup solved the problem. Good luck.

You can leave the valve open but you need to install a Valterra valve on the end of the drain pipe to shout off the flow of dirty water if you are Boondocking or not on septic when using galley tank.

Got the valve replaced now the sensors seem to be bad as they still read 2/3 full and I know for sure tank is empty, now what? Just read that build up of grease and oils can cause false readings, so fill tank, and Dawn dish soap let sit overnight drain in morning. May have to do it a couple of times, should clean sensors. Going to try it

You can get the sensors clean various different ways. Doing the shop Calgon water softener even put a bag or two of ice in there. It'll work for a while but I assure you you'll get right back to where you started.
There are some aftermarket sensors that melt to the exterior of the tank which are much more accurate but costly. I think one is called the level ese, or something like that.?

On ours, the label on the skirt for the galley gray tank valve was in the wrong location by about 2 1/2 feet. Had me scratching my head the first trip to the dump station as we are predominantly in COE locations. I still need to peal the sticker off and make a new one in the correct place. Still sometimes hard to reach blindly even having a reasonable sound idea of exactly where the handle is located.

On another note, I had voiced concern about the screw coming out of the handle while in transit. Another forum member suggest using Loctite plus drilling a small hole in the handle for a paracord lanyard to be ran from the handle to the gas line. Not only is that like wearing both a pants belt and suspenders, but the short lanyard has also helped to locate the handle when doing a blind reach.
