Very sad news to share …

Dear Fellow Montana Owners - it is with my deepest regret, I share with you the passing of a fellow friend, Blake Sheppard. Blake has succumb to the terrible Delta variant of COVID on Christmas Eve. It happened quick and hard.

Our hearts are broken.

You see, we just met Blake and his bride, Karen, (The Social Hermits) at our first MOC Rally this year. Their site was across the road from ours. We became fast friends, the one where you felt like you’ve known each other for years. Terry and Jill Vroegindewey, Ron and Joyce Hoving, Dan and Sandy Miller Huhn - we all have a special bond. All because of meeting at the Rally.

So please if you can, raise Blake and Karen up in your prayers. Blake will be laid to rest this Friday. If you could, share a card to Karen in care of the funeral home. I know it would really touch her.

Cherish those around you. Life is short. So very short. We just don’t know when our Lord will call us home.

Rest in Heaven Blake at the Hand of
our Savior. Teach the ones before us the amazing life of rv’ing and electric bikes. Show them your kindness and generosity. Travel the Heavens delivering rv’s to all who are new to what we already know.

Agreed. Lost my cousin last month. Too bad too because he was a really super guy.

We decided to do western NC this winter. Several cases of it in the campground. None of our immediate "neighbors" are vaccinated or mask wearers. Nobody wearing masks in the office either. We do not feel safe here at all so we're leaving early.

I used to get and advertise I a little benchrest magazine Precision Shooting. When a shooter passed the editor would devote a page to that person and always end by saying “we are diminished”.
When we loose a friend a loved one we are truly diminished.
