garmin 1090

hi there im just wondering about the new Garmin 1090 10 in screen.Did anyone get one yet? im wondering if the letters are bigger in it. wife's eyes are not like they used to be so are mine. anyway just want to know if its easier to read. i do have the 760 now think its a 6 in screen its been good to us for the last maybe 7 years. we think we need some bigger letters now with the 10 screen im hoping for that. thanks, roy

I don't remember if I read it here or on another forum - but in a similar thread, the guy said it was difficult to find a safe and sturdy place to mount his 1090 on his truck dash. He wished he had bought a smaller unit. I would cut a piece of carboard to the same size and play with it to see where it fits.

I have the smaller 785 but really like the built-in Dash Cam Feature.

thanks for telling me to cut out cardboard to take it in the truck that 10 by 10 is big to big for us so we're getting the 8in now that will fit better.as long as we can read it better that all we need it for now. thanks
