Making life easier while traveling.
1. Battery disconnect while trailer is in storage to prevent any battery drain, like carbon man oxide detector.
2. Bungee ties to keep doors from flying open during travels.
3. Elastic straps to keep refer door from flying open during travel, mayo and milk on floor, not good.
4. Metal wire shelves not shown.
5. Pull-out shelf for printer at secretarial, not shown.

After our first trip out and I had a new unopened jar of pickles and peanut butter blow thru the storage doors I did the same as you with the bungee ties. Some good ideas you have too.

Here's another trick you can do to keep the contents of the refrigerator from flying out at you when you OPEN the door. Use spring loaded shower curtain rods. They come in different lengths and are much stronger than the RV refrigerator spring loaded bars.

My kitchen cabinets are less than 1 inch from a slideout. Years ago one was open a bit when putting out the slide, it took out one hinge and loosened another. Then this year when going over a very bumpy/swailey road a door came open. Then on another (I assume) swail the weight of the door sprung the door down and pulled out a top hinge and bent the bottom one.

I can't bungee 2 of these because there is no other near the handle. So I bought a 4 foot wooden dowel that just fits thru the handles. I then got a very small bungee cord that holds it in place so it doesn't slide out.
All doors snug now.

Another tip. We brought the Montana home from the dealer and unhitched in our driveway. I went to open the bedroom slide and CRUNCH. A cabinet door was taken out by the slide. Long story short, I replaced the hinges and fixed some trim on the slide.

After that, we purchased baby lock - catches that attach inside the cabinets and put them on every door in the camper. Later, we attached metal catches on door that came together. We've been using the camper this way ever since. And, we always double check before extending any slide, even if the trailer has not moved.

Last weekend I opened the entry door on my rig after pulling it 45 miles. I was greeted on the suicide step my the globe off of the factory ceiling fan! Funny thing is that it was still intact! It is very this glass, had a long fall presumably on to the carpeted living room floor, and then must have rolled down onto the suicide step.

I could not believe it didn't break!

We use a carton from a 6 pack of longneck to keep small jars of condiments. Works really well.

Our model is one of the few that has a slide out cabinet next to the frig (and floor to top of fridge). It is only about 6 inches wide, but has about 5 or 6 shelves that are about 2 feet long and things like ketchup bottles, etc fit nicely.
When at the Rally when we had this for only 2 months, I asked the service guy if we could get more shelves as it only had 4 I think when new. So it must hold 35-40 items and no sliding around. Also has a solid nice latch to keep it shut when traveling.
I think this is removed when you order the bigger frig, so can't always get everything I guess.

I have installed double magnetic door latches (ace hardware)on my cabinets. I also use Velcro tape for the cabinets that the slider can damage. No more problems,

Interesting. I had to go around and loosen all the striker plates and turn them so that the cabinet latch magnets only make partial contact with them. The doors were so hard to open that when they finally would let loose they would knock you out if they hit you in the face. So far so good. We also use shower and refrigerator bars in the refer.

Yeh, those must be very strong. I had it drop several times in the past and twice this summer. One time the bulb had worked loose too and was broken but all inside the glass dome. I got a new bulb and reinstalled everything. A couple of weeks later the dome fell again!!! I don't know how it keeps happening!!!????
