Question Yellowstone Fishing Bridge CG help info

I will be staying there in July in the new section. I have a 65 ft pull thru reserved. Somewhere I read that you aren't really guaranteed a 65 ft spot.

So my problem is I have friends joining me and need somewhere to park their car. I wondered if they are picky about parallel parking a car at the end of the paved site maybe a foot or 2 in the road. I think I can squeeze my rig and pickup into maybe 60 feet unless there is room to squeeze it a little along side my rig.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unless the new modifications have added extra space to each site (which I doubt) there will be no room for an additional vehicle. Their information states each site will accommodate one tow vehicle and one towed vehicle. They may be able to park their vehicle at some other location, visitor center maybe. But not likely in any way partially blocking the road thru the RV park. Best call them and get the restrictions and options.

We will be there in about 3 weeks (currently Moab, then Tetons, then Yellowstone).
We have reservations for a 35' 5th wheel. I'm guessing they know we need more than 35' (+tow). We have no idea what site they have assigned us (not listed in the reservations)
The newly revised 2022 Campground map (attached) doesn't show individual sites, just loops and site numbers in that loop.

I have stayed at Fishing Bridge several times, before the latest remodel. The sites were tight; as in, you can look out your window into your neighbors window and see what's for dinner; have to keep the blinds down. As for parking, yes we always had room to park and yes a lot of vehicles stuck out in the road a ways. No one ever said anything. There are also overflow parking areas that can be used.

Was there last fall on a 60' site with 35' Monty in the new section. No problem parking truck and camper, but doubt there will be room for additional vehicle.

There are something like 50,65, 75 and 90 foot pull thrus now. I booked 65 because I didn't want to hog a long one when I didn't need that much space. However, now I need the space?!?!?! Dang.

Tom, call Reserve America and see if they can assign a longer site. Otherwise, take advantage of the overflow parking. I would hesitate parking into the road. There are some bad drivers out there that may hit it and just leave without reporting it.

I think xanterra is the only place that does reservations in all lodges and campgrounds in Yellowstone.

Campgrounds, State and National, often say that their site lengths include both the 5th wheel (or trailer) and the tow vehicle. Most private RV sites/campgrounds use the site length to equate to the RV lenght only.

So in private RV site/campground, if it's stated as a 37' site, we are confident we'll fit our 37' ft 5th Wheel and the tow vehicle. In a State/National Park, we are confident that we will NOT fit in a 37' site - we need more like a 50' site, at least.

We are at Fishing Bridge in the new section right now. We reserved a 70' site for a 38' Montana with our long-bed dually. If you park the rear of the trailer at the very end of the site, back the truck under the kingpin, you will probably be able to park another small vehicle on the site. The park is full and there are no vehicles parked in the roadway.

Enjoy yourself and have a great time!
