North American Fall Rally Activity Sign Ups

While we are all waiting for Registration to open, we thought we’d take a minute and let everyone know that this year we are going to try something a little different for the activity sign ups in order to streamline the process and make sure information is easily accessible by all who need it.

We will be creating a post with Rally Activity Sign Ups for attendees to review to ensure they know what activities they need to register for before the rally. This post will be pinned to the top of the 2023 Annual North American Fall Rally thread and will include any costs and links to an Activity Sign-Up form. We will create a similar post for any Volunteer needs so people can see all the areas that need helpers and links to a Volunteer Sign-Up form.

If you are a coordinator for an activity, someone will be in touch with you to explain the process and so you can let us know what information you need collected. If you are ready to post a thread for activities and have not been contacted yet, please Private Message one of the people listed below.

If this year is like last year’s rally, half of the attendees will be what we affectionately call “newbies”. Our beloved newbies (of which we were all one once) are trying to figure out what happens at rally. So, I thought I would jump start the activities by talking about one of the sessions that is near and dear to my heart, the Alaska Roundtable. Many years ago, we attended our first Alaska session, wondering “do people really tow a big old Montana to Alaska?” Well, in 2014, we towed our Montana Big Sky on a 95 day adventure to the 49th state. It was so awe inspiring that we said we wanted to do it again. This is the year. If you wanted to know what’s it like, how much does it cost, what does it take - we’re headed straight from Alaska to rally and will be ready to answer your questions. If it ever stops snowing, we plan on leaving the mountain on May 1. Hope to see you at the rally in September. Looking forward to sign up on Monday and leaving for Alaska the following Monday.

Please hold off volunteering on this thread. As the activity/volunteer coordinators make their initial forum posts, a link will be included to allow you to sign up or volunteer.

We will be updating the Activity Sign Up Checklist and the Volunteer Sign Up Checklist posts once a day or so, linking to the initial thread and including any sign up or volunteer form links.

I recommend you subscribe to those threads to be notified of the latest updates.

I would suggest that you make sure you are subscribed to those threads so you will be notified once they are updated.

Each coordinator has access to their responses. It will be up to each individual coordinator to decide if they wish to publish a list at some point.

Hello David,

Watching and signing up as things post. I don't see Kleen Tank or the bearings guy in the Vendors section yet. Will they be there this year. I'd love to get those items done again this year. Thanks.

Our current understanding is that yes both of these Vendors will be at the Rally again, however the full Vendor list has not been finalized yet.

Information will be posted as soon as we have all the details.
