If you can manage to get the Schwintek to all the way in and out, the motors are synced by continuing to hold the button 5 or 6 additional seconds AFTER the slide has hit it's end of travel. This goes for both extending and retracting the slide. Doesn't seem natural to do, but evidently that is the way it is designed to operate. Like Tony stated, leveling your fifth wheel side to side with leveling blocks beneath the low side wheels prior to auto leveling is of great importance as well.
EDIT: I use these to level our fifth wheel side to side, but blocks, pads or various thickness boards can be used.
