CPRR Sunday's Trip to Melodrama
If you've looked at the schedule for this year's Central Plains Rally we have scheduled another trip to Mahoney State Park to attend the presentation of another great melodrama. This year's melodrama is called "Robber's Roost"!
Ma Quigley runs a haven for criminals in the remote hills north of the Dismal River. All outlaws are welcome as long as they share their loot with Ma. Slowpoke Jones always has loot to share. Slippery Sam Sidewinder, the meanest outlaw west of the Dismal River, never has any money to pay for his room and board. Ramona Scalawag, the meanest outlaw east of the Dismal River always seems to visit when Slowpoke is there. Lovely Annabel Smith arrives with a bad case of amnesia but has a valise full of bank notes in her possession. She had no idea where the money came from, but thinks she must be an outlaw. Is there a lawman in the crowd to bring them all to justice? Come and find out how this is all takes place and if things get settled in true western fashion!

UPDATE June 20, 2023 We have a cut off date for reservations of July 1st so please post here if you plan on going to the Melodrama so we can get a count on how many tickets to reserve.
Oh by the way, we will be making a trip to the Famous Melt in Your Mouth Baker's Chocolates prior to going to the Melodrama. If you haven't had Baker's Chocolates you are missing a real treat!
