Cargo door replacement

I’ve got a 2021 Montana 3791RD. I have the slide out cargo shelf in the back of my RV. But I need to replace the entire door. The hinge is breaking loose and my door won’t shut properly nor seal properly. Is there a good place to buy not only the door, but also the frame that the door sits in into the RV? Do I have to buy street from Keystone? Or is there a third party that can have the whole unit that I can replace? Thank you.

Chris, Google Search RV Salvage companies near me and see if there are any near you. Trekwood may have it but it will be high in price and REALLY expensive shipping. You can also talk to the parts manager at your dealership and see if they can order it for you from Keystone. Keystone does not sell direct to owners but goes through the dealers.

Wow! At that rate it only takes a few of us Keystone chumps to make their yearly quota.

Years ago I had to replace a cargo door on my Alpenlite 29RK. This was after Western RV/Alpenlite was out of business. I went thru Kinro (it was a nightmare) and now Lippert owns Kinro. I have no idea if a Lippert door and frame will fit your unit. Might be worth a call to Lippert to find out. Pretty sure Lippert will answer your call. Not sure if Trekwood is easy to get someone on the phone…I think I read that somewhere in this forum.

I recently replaced a similar compartment door. I compared going through Trekwood and my dealer. My dealer ended up being cheaper. As others have mentioned, shipping from Trekwood was ridiculous. Went through my dealer and got it cheaper and faster. The replacement came as a complete assembly and included the frame.

Wonder if they offer free pickup instead of shipping?
It would be cheaper to just drive to Elkhart.
