Black and gray tank dump valve cable

I have 3761 Montana. Dump rods have been bent so valve won't work. Has any one changed them. Need the part numbers for cables. or how to find them. thanks

The black and shower valves are under the coroplast out of sight. They don't have much of a rod. There is only enough to connect to the cable. The galley tank usually has a rod the extends through the frame. It doesn't have a cable.

You can buy replacement rods at most any RV supply shop.

The valves are likely Bristol made. They have a different type cable from the preferred replacement valve made by Valtera. There are replacement cables for the Valtera valve but I don't see one for the Bristol valve.

Here is a link to replacement valves and cables.

I have an older model but have the Bristol Valves. My black tank valve would not open or close all the way. I flushed the tank the best I could and replaced the entire unit. The valve itself, the cable and the handle. As stated earlier, everything but the handle is hidden. I dropped the bottom cover from the front back past the two channels to expose the valve and cable. If you replace the valve as I did be sure to use some silicon on the valve itself to lube it, I'm told it will last a lot longer if you do. I did not get much (a few drops) sewage when I pulled the valve. A tight fit, but with two people it was easy putting the new one in. BTW I also installed a valve to the sewer line where it connects to the Hose and its like a safety valve, so even if one of the primary valves leaks the new one contains everything in the dump line until I've hooked up to the sewer...

I replaced a sticking black tank valve on my 2020 Montana 378L with this one Valterra-TC372 Flexible Cable Kit with 3" Valve, Mess-Free Waste Valve . Suggest checking with Montana customer service with your VIN to confirm the manufacturer and par numbers.

We had are changed out at Affinity last year after the rally they failed in 2 weeks so Affinity had to change them out twice in a 2 week period we had started home and turned around and returned to affinity. The design has issues and the parts should be better.
