Norcold Fridge

Just got my 2022 Montana 3763 BP about a month ago
ThIs trailer has a Norcold 2118 RV fridge, my last rv had a residential fridge
Noticed the this fridge freezer runs about 10 degrees F and the fridge struggles to go below 45 degrees F
Has anyone had issues with this fridge cooling?
Talked to dealer and after some run around they are going to replace seals and adjust doors
My wife is at the point of dumping the RV fridge and going back to residential
We don’t do any or little boondocking so the propane aspect isn’t a big issue
Anybody have any thoughts of what else I can look into for repairs or is Norcold a “dud”

Many have documented this problem.
The solution seems to be adding fans to the interior freezer and fridge AND to the exterior top vent to pull the heat out.
You can search on Norcold fridge cooling and you will find a hundred threads on this with pictures.
I have wired in an internal fan for the fridge. I Tapped into the wiring for the existing fan.
For the outside, after reading the manual and circuit diagram, I discovered the 130⁰F thermostat on the top outside fin doesn't work.
I bypassed it and all THREE exterior cooling fans came on.
I bought a digitally controlled thermostat to control the exterior fans. I have not got around to wiring it in yet.

We have the Norcold 12 cu ft fridge and it works just fine, but like Daryles, I have added extra fans on the outside along with an ARP device which protects the fridge from running too hot. We are currently in temperatures just under 100 degrees and this is a photo I just took of our Acurite monitor of the fridge and freezer temps. In the morning, the freezer is usually below 10 degrees and the fridge is usually about 35 degrees. Having the RV fridge is really nice when you don't have 50 amp electric or experience a power outage. We have been on our Honda generators for several weeks now and the fridge is happy, even with the A/C going constantly during the day. I'm sure, with a little tweaking, you can make the fridge work just fine.

Try putting a fan in there to help with the cooling

Make sure the center flap closes and the door seals are all installed and fit well. You can use a dollar bill to test the door seals.
