New Floor - New Year!

Happy new Year!

A month or so ago I asked about removing the last laminate floor plank under the kitchen slide out. I had removed all of the old flooring except for this one piece. Suggestions were to just leave it if you can't see it. Tis true. i couldn't see it, so I followed the advice and did not remove it.

The floor is entirely finished now and I think it turned out great!
One sentence of advice for those wanting to install the LVP flooring:
Don't install below freezing. Have it at least 50 F . At freezing it's too easy for the flooring crack/shatter when tapping into place.

Here is our video:

I appreciate all the suggestions everyone gave!

Is there a way to have the video play in the thread rather than an outside link?

Yes there is. Post #18 in the Forum Posting 101 and Account Help Thread (https://www.montanaowners.com/forums...eo#post1056622) describes how to do this.

You can embed a YouTube video (provided it's on topic) in a post. Just copy the url of the video from your browser address line and paste it into your post. The video will display when you make the post.[
Using your link, I clicked on it, and copied the URL (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5PG4Fpskyo NOTE: I had to Bold some characters in the URL to fake out the forum software to show the URL rather than the vid as seen below) and pasted it below.

The floor looks good! I hope to have a new floor in the new year, too!

Looks Great!
How did you deal with the transition to the slide?

The transition looks good but is still seen - you can see it in the video. We plan on putting a runner over it when it's out. i wasn't sure how else to do that.
