I've got the Porter-Cable 5 gallon 150 psi pancake compressor - it's light, not large and I leave it in the trailer storage compartment ("garage") right by a plug. Viair makes nice compressors but having a generator means not having to deal with 12v "toys"

That looks identical to the Craftsman that I have. However it works great.

Happy trails.

Viair 300p-rvs (p/n 30034)?

I know this is an old thread, but it's the newest one that mentions the 400P-RVS.

Looking at Viair's website (https://www.viaircorp.com/shows-and-...he-rv-industry), they say the 300P-RVS is "Perfect for Class B RV’s and Towables"
  • Heavy Duty Cycle: 33% @ 100 PSI
  • Extended 30 ft. 5-in-1 Braided Air Hose w/ 150 PSI Inline Gauge to reach most Class B or Towable tires
  • Aluminum Sand Tray w/ Vibration Isolators
  • Inflates 255/70/19.5 tires from 80 to 90 PSI in just 44 seconds
  • Powerful and Compact: Under 10 lbs

It appears to be the same as the 400P, with just not as many accessories.

Does anyone have any experience with/any thoughts on this one?

Thanks,
Ed

I also use the Viair 450P but modified the power cord. I cut about 12 inches down from original battery clip cord and installed heavy duty quick disconnect plug. I then took same heavy gauge wire and made up a 7 pin connector plug with the same quick disconnect plug giving me the option to quickly attach to my truck trailer connections for power or clip to a battery source.

Used the same heavy duty connector as Chuck on my Viair compressor. Main reason is that I have a connector like that to run the macerator in my wet bay. Makes hooking up the compressor very easy even with the truck connected. I think I might steal Chuck's idea about the 7 pin connector though. That's a really good idea.
