Hey Carl N Susan, I have one of the 2014 3850 fl and it has two doors as you mentioned,we love the rear bedroom and the access to the bathroom with slides retracted. Stay safe out there everybody! 😷😷✌🏻️

I was told by one of the hydraulic mechanics at the factory that you should just “bump” the switch before you turn off the slide or slides. This takes the pressure off the system and allows the correct valve to properly close. I was closing the switch and the slide was still moving before this and now it works perfect. Just FYI.

I think of the ds and ods as driver side, opposite driver side.

I agree just had my 2020 3791 in for warranty work. Made sure they had all the replacement parts on had before I took it in.
We stayed in it at night while at the dealer.
They referred to off door side and door side.

True in the auto industry, but the RV world functions differently in many ways. This is just one example.

Also, driver side and opposite driver side would actually be backwards from door side and opposite door side. Confusing.

Learned one there, thanks. I relabeled my slide out valves and scare lights over this. I thought my trailer went down the assembly line backwards since everything was labeled "wrong".

I believe this is generally true but there are RVs with doors on both sides and the driver is not always on the left side. Places that drive on the left side of the road generally have vehicles that the driver is on the right side.
