Hydraulic problem

We have a new to us 2017 Montana High Country. The rig has been sitting for a few years but in great shape. Today we tried to bring in all slides to re level it. Closet slide no issue, bed slide zero in moving, kitchen side no issue and zero movement in the double living room slides. Also we noticed the front hydraulic Jacks will extend but not retract. ( a front driver hydraulic hose was replaced due to a leak). Also the back 4 jacks extend but same as front not retract. . Does anyone has any advice on this?

I would look at the retract manifold, the one where the black retract hydraulic hoses go to. There should be a valve which should open when any retract is activated. I had the electrical connection on the valve oxidize which resulted in the no retract scenario. Pull the connects off one at a time and clean the lugs on the valve and inside the electrical connectors by any means possible. Then try retract again to see if you solved your issue. John

Bobbie,

Are your slides and level up hydraulic or electric? Most high countries use electric.

That is applicable to motor home systems. The Montana Level Up systems are different.

Hydraulic jacks and the double living room slides are also. Other slides are electric.
