My 2 cents. I purchased RV locks for 2 rv’s over the past years and found that the key fobs that purchased all the black coating around the fob chipped away. Then the plastic membrane that you push in daily for the entry code stared peeling at the numbers. Then I contacted the company and they advised to purchase another key pad membrane along with another key fob. So having spent $200 for the lock and needed to purchase another keyfob and another key pad membrane. I said no more. Then I bought the Bauers Rv lock on Amazon and it’s so much better quality. Can unlock from keypad or app. Check them out

There are definitely quality issues with RV Lock. You can purchase an upgraded keypad for the integrated lock.

But why would I purchase a $200 plus Rv lock and then have to buy an upgraded key pad because there POS lock don’t last. Don’t make sense. AAlso there customer service is rude. They should send out a new key pad to all the customers that grew there empire. Thanks

I had purchased what I thought was an RV Lock on sale and it ended up being a cheap knockoff and when I tried to get help and finally return it there was no answer….😡. ( Noted there was not a Lion head on the lock..)
I reorded from the RVLock company insuring it had the lions head at the full price and got what I paid for. Make sure your getting the real Macoy and not a cheap knockoff at a reduced price. Very happy with the real RVLock!
