2013 Montana Hickory 3582RL Stack washer/dryer

I want to install a stack pair of Splendide washer/dryer in the 5th wheel. The main question that I have is the hole for the dryer vent and is I should consider the 90 degree angle dryer vent adapter. We just bought the 5th wheel and are new to 5th wheel living.

I had to look up your floor plan to see where your washer/dryer closet was located. Looks like you will need the 90* exhaust for the dryer. I have read here that some folks use a stud finder to locate the aluminum studs, and some use a tiny drill bit to locate studs. There has been lots of threads on installing washer/dryer. Try the search feature above.

Washer dryer install

I was planning on getting the 90 adapter for the back of the dryer. I do not think the flex tubing would do a good job. Just have to find a source for the adapter.

Hi I have the 2012 floor plan as you. Yes use the 90 box, and you will exit behind the bulkhead wall. And then flex to the outside wall. The only thing I’m not sure of is your doing the stack. Will the dryer vent be higher on the wall. Our model has the inverter box in the bathroom

I know this is a long after response however. The 3582RL that I got the dimensions from did not have the 90 degree adapter. There was plenty of room behind the dryer. The only clue that I got from looking at that install was that a backstop on the top of the dryer to make sure things could not fall down behind the dryer. Knowing that things will likely be put on top of the dryer and would be a pain to retrieve. The one that I looked at had several bottles of water that had fallen down and the hose had a loop from the weight. I alerted the owner that they needed to address that issue as it was a fire hazard.
