New to RVing!

Hi all,

We got a 2013 3150RL and will be traveling full time while working remotely starting in June. Looking forward to joining the RV community. Any tips tricks and things to know would be much appreciated.

Best,
Alex & Rebecca

Welcome aboard! Glad you found us. If everything is working as it should then you're off to a good start. The first thing to check is the brand and age of your tires. Your trailer may well have come with E rated tires which are too light for the GVWR of your 5er. They may have been upgraded but you will want to make sure they are less than 5 years old and a reputable brand.

Let us know...

Another small item you should do: Go to the User CP at the top of the page and edit your signature. Add the montana model, etc and also your truck info. Then when you ask questions, we all know what we are dealing with.
And a bigger item - your truck. Pin weight is a big issue with these rigs. I had a 2006 Silverado 2500 and GVWR was just 9600 lb. My rig then had ping wt. of 2300 or so. I was 2-300 lb over GVWR for truck. Your rig should have 2400-3000 lb pin wt, so check it out.
This forum is GREAT for any problems you have. Someone here will know what/how to fix it.

Welcome Alex & Rebecca! The MOC family is a great place to be. I know there are numerous full timers on here, though my DW and I are not - yet that is. I'm sure the full time community here will help you folks out in any way that they can. Enjoy your new rig and happy camping!
P.S. -> The suggestion on editing your signature info for your rig from the CP post was one of the most helpful suggestions possible to start with...
