Just purchased our first RV Memorial Weekend

My wife and I just purchased a new 2022 3761FL. We are having some items (scratches/dings) fixed before we bring it home. Can't wait to go on our first trip.

Hope to get some good info from the forum.

Thanks,
Chris

Welcome to the forum. While you are waiting for your new rig, you have time to learn how to post photos using the paperclip icon above when you are posting, and also, I’m not sure where this is, but someone might know, there is a list of common abbreviations frequently used on this forum that will prove helpful, and one of them is SOB, not what will come to mind right away

Thank you for the welcome!

Thanks for the welcome. First we are going to a local RV park to try everything out. That way we can make a list of everything we forgot. LOL

We are going to Ruidoso NM for a short getaway after that. Can't wait to try it out.

Best of luck and welcome to the forum. Assuming you did a thorough PDI including filling and dumping tanks, make sure you have them give you a thorough walk through on how to work everything. There has been a rash of Solar mis-wiring, so make sure that is also working. And take notes. I’d say a good portion of us missed the galley dump handle and wondered why our kitchen sink was full of water. Lots to learn but lots of people willing to help.

Congratulations on the new rig!
in addition to the sage advice on getting a thorough PDI walk through and taking notes, I had the DW video our walk through. I've definitely had to check our video for some of the finer points.
Happy camping!

Hopefully, the person giving the walkthrough knows what they are talking about. I went with the father-in-law five years ago when he went through the walkthrough at the dealer, and the lady didn't have a clue about most of the stuff in the trailer. I noticed the propane detector, which was only for propane, and I asked about where is the CO detector? She had no idea, so once he had the rig home and I had more time to investigate, that was supposed to be a combination detector, LP/CO, and ultimately the dealer gave me the right detector, along with a prepaid box to send the wrong one back to them. There were several other things, but it helps to have another person with you that has RV experience.

You people!! I cannot wait for summer to end so I get back on the road . Arrived home May 2nd, maybe 1 trip before October when we get back on the less crowded road again. We will be home 2 weeks for holidays out of 7 months. Summer- my favorite posts are people asking about winterizing!

Make sure you check all the trim boards. Almost all of ours pulled through the staples.
They blew through the boards.
We have a 3763bp and love it.
