I had the same issue where my trailer goose neck hit the side of my truck. What i did was turn the anderson female part that attaches to the trailer 180 so that it reduced the radius of the goose neck .Hopefully i got the picure attached.

We have a 2015 Ram 2500 and a 2001 Montana 3255rl. We just used our new PullRite #2600 for a long weekend of boondocking. Though we aren't able to make a complete 90° turn because of possible bed rub, we are about 80°. We have the Pull Rite set at it tallest setting. If I lowered the king pin, I'm certain we could make a 90° turn with no bed rubbing. Good luck!

We had the AUH on a Short bed MEGA CAB... wound up getting a long bed truck... Not good..

So is the hitch rubbing on the bed rails or the overhang on the rig? I have read that if the hitch rubs/hits the rails, they cut the corner off the hitch. Just a 2 or 3 inch of the corner. Maybe this would work.

My Ultimate hitch is steel and mounted on a Reese rail to the Ram puck system on a 2017 Ram 3500. I have 5 inches clearance at the rails. This is not the aluminum model. That might help.

Anderson sells their Rota-Flex Lockout kit, which allows you to use the flex type pinbox.

if you notice i have installed the lock out kit. It is used to help hold the rubber in with the rota flex. It is a simple fix. Two metal bars and some all thread

I don't know about most of the rest of you, but I try to avoid anywhere near a 90° truck to fiver situation unless it is absolutely unavoidable. I realize the situation can occur once in awhile but it puts undue stress on your fiver frame and truck. It's happened to me once in 24 years of pulling a fifth wheel, but like I say I make it a point to avoid it.
