Cool Sewer Hose Compartment Door

On my 2006, the trusty sewer compartment door has finally broken--one side the pin on the molded plastic door has broken. I am going to look for a replacement that will probably include the frame. I am also going to try a quick fix by using eterna bond tape to form a small fix or hinge to that end of the door. The other end is not damaged. Since the door is so light, I don't have much concern with weight or moving the 12 x 7.5 inch door--it swing down to open the compartment. Any other ideas?

I'm not sure exactly what you have, but would something like this work?

One thing I've learned after completely remodeling 4 houses and hundreds of home repair projects, if you find the product that works, but the color is wrong, you can always spray paint it to match anything you want. Plastic or wood wall light switch face plates, to a claw foot bath tub. Original Rust-o-lium (oil based) spray paint works fantastic on plastics ... especially those travel trailer A-frame vinyl propane tank covers and plastic hatch doors on campers!
