Keystone approved my roof repair. Thanks to my dealership Keystone is sending a tech to my house to do the repairs. I'll update with pictures when they start.

A seam where two sheets of luan butt together has failed. The staples are coming out allowing one seam to lift about 1/4". After months of jumping through hoops Keystone as approved a repair. Their sending a tech from wecanfixrthat. https://wecanfixthat.com/rosevilleca/
Apparently this is the company they use to do all of their vinyl floor repairs. Not sure what their process is but I'm really interested to find out. I'll post pics.

A seam on the roof, that seems odd. If i remember the tour we took of the factory last year the roof material was one piece. Did it have a previous repair?

Screen shot below from a Keystone Montana factory tour. This video was posted 7 months ago so it probably shows the roof of a 2023 model. It shows single OSB panels running across the roof in the east-west direction. You can see the butt joints covered with tape.

Only as good as the staples holding the panels down. Been there done that. Had my entire roof replaced on my 2018 Cougar. Thank god they don't have to replace the whole roof on my Monty.

Thanks for the tip. Schubert (from wecanfixthat.com) will be here tomorrow to fix a bleach spot in my carpet. DW used Chlorox Bathroom Cleaner (by mistake) to clean a spot in the carpet.

It's called warranty, it's up the the service department to relay the correct information to the manufacture. The manufacture protects itself from unwarranted claims by making the dealership prove that it's valid. Thus the fight.....standard first answer from any manufacture for warranty is no....having been a service manager I know the drill.

Roof repaired. We can fix that did a great job.
The fix, a small cut over the staples, remove the staple, inject a mixture into the cut and covering it, roll it to adhere under and on top, vulcanize weld using a heat gun, sand it and paint it. "stronger then the TPO"
This is the same repair used on commercial building TPO roofs for small tears. I was impressed with his services. He was authorized to repair 5 staples but found a total of 11. He called Keystone and got authorization for the additional staples without even telling me.
They also repair automotive leather, fabric's and linoleum flooring. It turns out that this is the same guy who repaired my lino when a screw came up.

He removed 11 staples. Next step is back to the dealer where they will install a roof vent on the seam to secure the two panels. I'll send pictures when I can. All documented through Keystone to keep the 12 year warranty.
