Share Your Airbag Pressure?
I've newly installed Firestone RideRight 6401 and an Air Lift WirelessAir. I'm starting to play with settings. I hear 8-10PSI un-hitched and somewhere between 50-80 with the rig on. I'd be interested to hear what others are doing. I know it depends on TV, rig-level mods, packed weight etc. but please share you're settings - it'll be good to see what the community does with these things...
Thanks
Darran

I ride empty with 10psi. Ride comfort is very subjective, but my trailer is about the same weight as yours and I like 40psi going down the road. YMMV

I have an Air Lift 7500 system on my F-250. The truck has the Ford trailer suspension so my ride is stiff to begin with. I run 15 empty and take it up to 50 psi before I hitch up the trailer. With the trailer hitched and sitting on the truck - the PSI guage shows 80-85 PSI. For me, that amount gives us a very smooth ride.

I have a 2019 Ford F250 turbo-diesel with the factory towing package. Added on the wireless airbags. I run 10 psi empty and 65 psi fully loaded with my 330RL. I never carry full liquid tanks on my 5er, but have most of my storage space packed full. 65 psi gives me a fantastic ride--if I don't look in the mirror, I can't tell I'm pulling anything, even accelerating onto the freeway. Love that Ford turbo-diesel!

Darran, for any given hitch weight, you’ll need less air pressure if the truck is a 1 ton compared to a 3/4 ton. The trucks I’ve had , needed 45 psi for a 1 ton and 75 psi for a 3/4 ton (both trucks towing the same 40’ 5th wheel. When not towing, I remove as much air as the minimum psi the manufacturer has designed the air spring to retain, which is 5 psi. The air springs have internal joust bumpers, that take the place of the factory joust bumpers that have to be removed to install the new air springs. The ride it not changed from the stock setup. I was pleasantly surprised that my current 2020 F-350 rides better unloaded, than the previous 2017 F-250..

My Air-Lift air bags are the optional ones with the rebound damper built in so I don't need to keep any air in the bags when not loaded. When loaded my auto-level system gets the rig level at about 50 psi but that makes for a rough ride so once underway on level ground, I bleed out what amounts to about 10 psi so that at 40 psi I'm still very close to level but my teeth are still in tact at the end of the day.

5 psi empty and 15 to 20 towing. Its level without adding air, but 15 to 20 helps with ride quality.
