Status Code E01 on CSW Inverter Display

Sold our Airstream and bought a Montana Legacy 3121rl. New to 5th wheeling. Just took delivery after waiting for parts and dealer to fix bedroom slide (another day, another story).

I am trying to get up to speed on the solar, batteries, and electrical systems. The RV came with SolarFlex 200 but we added 2 additional solar panels and upgraded to a 50 amp controller and put in 2 BattleBorn lithium batteries.

Once we had the RV home, I plugged it into our outside 50 amp electrical connection.

The Magnum Dimensions CSW Inverter is and has continually showed a status of E01 since I plugged into our 50 amp electrical connection. See picture.

I assume that status code is not good. Appreciate any thoughts.

I would check the Magnum website and see if they have a fault code chart for your unit.
We have a different Magnum Inverter and I've printed out the fault codes and have it posted right next to the remote display. Our normal display is E0, for ours E1 means Reverse Polarity.

I have the CSW1012. According to the manual for the CSW1012 and CSW2012, the E01 error code is
Unit has sensed the input voltage is low (< 10.5 VDC) and has shut down.
Corrective action is to recharge the battery and restart the unit.

Thanks I have the CSW2012-HX Power Inverter and I downloaded the error codes from the manufacturer. When I disconnect from shore power 50 amp at home, the residential fridge stops running and the inverter screen goes blank. I am taking it back to the dealer for this and a few other problems tomorrow.

My 1012 was bad straight from the factory and had to be replaced too. I'm sensing a theme here.

Thanks to all for your input - I may have to chalk this one up to my lack of understanding the inverter connections. Apparently the dealer had turned off battery power to the inverter and did not mention that to me so that explains why the display screen was blank when I disconnected shore power.

If I read the manual correct, I think this inverter is supposed to stay on and when it senses shore power, it should go into bypass mode automatically i.e., no need to keep turning on and off the battery power to the inverter. It is still at the dealer so I will test it again when I get it back.

Roland, the HX has an orange ignition wire that needs 12v to enable the inverter. The 12v switch (in convenience center) must be on for the ignition wire to enable the inverter. This is even though the display in the coach will light up because the inverter is powered by the direct feed from the batteries. I've been there and done that.

If you wanted to stop powering the house (all 12v in the coach) and still run the inverter - you could rewire that orange ignition wire from the 12v coming into the inverter (the wire would simply run from one end of the inverter to the other) thus the inverter would be enabled whenever the inverter battery switch is on and can still be controlled from the display.
