Plastic under slide is cracked ???

Since I have a front living room, I can't call it a bedroom slide. One of the underneath plastic (sheets)? Is cracked in several places.
To fix it with a new piece would entail alot of work, removing trim, and unscrewing, not to say how far it goes into the body behind the rollers ???
Nothing is missing, and I can pull pieces down.
I'm wondering if I could just glue it all to the bottom of the slide ?
If so, what glue would be the best to stick this plastic to the wood, and never have to worry about it ever coming loose ??

The plastic on the bottom of our bedroom slide has cracks, so I covered them with black gorilla tape in order to prevent the pieces from falling out. This spring I plan on getting auto body plastic filler and fill between the cracks. I hope this will fix the problem.

I'm going to get a 50 foot roll of 4 inch wide, underbelly tape for mobile homes and rv's.
It should work just fine, with minimal added thickness.

I too have these cracks under only one of our slides. I did protect with the gorilla tape. I am at a loss for how or why it happened. I assumed some object ( Probably from the puppy ) may have worked its way under when closed and created the cracks when i opened - I was unable to find anything.
Our RV is parked in our RV park and has never seen the road ( Except for the delivery ) We have a awesome on site registered RV guy who i am going to ask to look into to ensure it's covered under the extended warrenty ? Strange for sure.

My 2007 3400RL has the same problem but with a good size piece missing. The area around the missing piece appears to be solidly attached, and as it is under the slide and rain cannot get to it, I simply used a can of Flex Seal on it to keep moisture from the air out. That was three years ago and no problems that I am aware of to date. I suspect one could use an exterior paint and achieve the same effect. If holes go through the wood or it it is splintered, I think a fiber glass filler or application of a glass mat would work.

We had a small crack from when the dealer repaired a water leak, I used a plastic welder then peeled it back & reglued with contact cement. you cant tell it was cracked, its amazing what you can repair with a plastic welder when you get the hang of it.

Ours cracked as well but no pieces fell out? It was on warranty so I asked and looked around and found a lot of people had the same issue. Most didn’t know it. The dealer replaced it under warranty but stated 1 time only. He said it is common because the factory used minimal glue. His fix was a new sheet with full coverage of contact cement. He said it may crack again, but he had 95 percent success rate. He replaced it and it has not cracked since. A small private rv repair shop here also replaces it, but he uses a white puck board. Not sure how he fastens it.

ours is in the same condition. I noticed it when we bought it (used from a dealer). At first I insisted it be repaired untill I found out that the entire slide would have to be removed to do so. I do not have any confidece the dealer would fix it right so they just cut me a chech for the repair. I believe this is caused by temp and or humidity changes.
