underside of bedroom slide
Just picked up our 2015 3582 , set it up at home been putting all our belongings from our 3150 into new one, noticed that the "black plastic" under the bedroom slide had a couple of cracks in it. Going to send photos to selling dealer but was just curious if anyone else has seen this. It appears to be real thin and most likely a vapor barrier of some sort.

Ripple or actual material crack? Have not experienced or read about actual cracks. Maybe a stress crack because of slide maladjustment. Never a problem with any of our units.

On my 2009, the plastic on the underside of the bedroom slide had numerous cracks. Gorilla tape will not stick, in fact nothing sticks to the plastic. I ended up installing wood screws to hold it in place. I called service and asked how to repair this and they just said to take it to a dealer. No help at all.

Ill take it back to CW when I have a few other issues pop up as Im sure they will. (Mr Optimistic) lol. Little concerned as to there fix as I am sure they are not going to remove my slide to replace this. Interesting this slide is hard plastic and the other slides have some type of softer plastic like material. We shall see

our passenger side slide was cutting into the material on the bottom. Dealer found three staples that hold the slide sweep were too long. Dealer had material to overlay the damaged place. It looks good as new.

We took the Mountaineer out last weekend and my plastic is broken under bedroom slide as well. It is being replaced under warranty. They say they may have to remove the slide, but apparently its not that big a deal. Will let you know how I make out. Supposed to get it done in 3 weeks.
