Water Leak
I have a 2007 Montana 3000RK and we were camping this weekend. It was raining lightly and I woke up Saturday morning to a wet floor next to my couch and fireplace. the wetness had about a 1-1/2 foot circumference from the wall. Like I said it was raining but it wasn’t a driving rain mostly pretty light and coming straight down, there wasn’t any water on the wall, only the carpet was soaked. I don’t know if this is coincidence or if it had something contributing to the water leak. Friday night into Saturday morning. I woke up to my water pump running periodically but it would only run for a second and then shut off for about 10 to 20 minutes and then do it again periodically through the night. I pulled the fireplace out to look to see if there was any leaking water lines or the toilet was leaking. I didn’t find any wetness anywhere behind the fireplace or underneath the stairs. My seals around the slide are in good shape and are very flexible. I shut the water pump off when we didn’t need it. Saturday evening I turned it on to see if I could get the water pump to do the same thing and it wouldn’t. It acted like a normal water pump only coming on when a faucet was turned on or the toilet was in use. I hope I’ve described this pretty well to give a good picture of what was going on, Has anybody had this happen to them or similar circumstances? If you have any suggestions, I would like to hear them. Thanks in advance.
