Manual
Does anyone know if Keystone make model specific owners manuals? The one that came with my 2955rl is next to useless for my needs.

In my opinion, next to useless is the technical name for a Keystone owners manual. You can get more info from the videos on the support section of their website.

I was handed all the manufactures literature on each product, there was no unified owners manual, I guess MOC is the owners manual !!

You’d be better off by downloading the manuals from Lippert, Furion, etc and have them available on your cell phone or tablet .... Also Lipperts App is a good reference tool with many links to subs systems

They put the manuals with the blueprints, electrical diagrams, plumbing drawings, structural testing certifications, and final QC checklists.

I had manuals, but the specific ones from Keystone were generic - not for a given model. Also gave manuals from vendors like lippert, dometic, etc

Ditto. It was the same way with our motorhome a few years back. A lot of generic information but nothing specific on the unit itself. Let's see, back then we had a Chevy chassis with some Ford parts thrown in just for good measure.
When a part broke (heater blower, windshield wiper motor), it took numerous phone calls and internet searching just to find out which part to get to replace it. That's when I found that the actual squirrel cage blower motor under the dash was Chevy, but the controlling rheostat they put in for the switch came from a Ford F350 van. No one knew who made the original windshield wiper motor because they switched venders back and forth and they had NO documentation -- even with a VIN. I eventually tracked down the vender in GA and got a replacement motor. But then wiring it was a chore because sometimes they had an external ground wire and sometimes they integrated the ground wire into the harness..
But I digress. Just saying Amen to DQDICK that next to useless is, unfortunately, par for the course.
Oh, and a wiring diagram. May as well look for pink unicorns!

Ditto on getting from the manufacturers web pages. I also gotten many from the links here on the MOC. Great people here. My cloth "manual/papers" bag I got from our dealer when doing the PDI is now stuffed full ;=]

It would be good to have a pamphlet to offer new buyers on basics of setup and techniques but I guess it's just important to ask questions at the dealer. This is where a reputable dealer would be important.
Besides electricity and plumbing, it's just a box on a trailer full of appliances, so all they really need to do is hand over the individual manuals...
I thought it was weird too, but it's not now that I've given it more thought.
I recommend having the model numbers of every appliance and getting an installation and operation manual for each one if they weren't already included from the dealer.

We were newbie rv/5th wheel owners 2 yrs ago (not that we're any more experienced). We didn't know about the little button behind the bedroom television to switch from cable TV to antenna TV. A fellow campground resident had to show us. We also didn't know the TV antenna would/could turn for better reception and to "seat" the antenna on the roof. Stupid little things we were never shown or maybe forgot (so much info). There should be an owners manual for newbies. We don't need to know how to install a product in an RV, we need to know how to operate it (like the furnace anode rod etc). We've learned so much reading the threads from the forum, so informative. thank you everybody
