No, but that's because we own a lot in NM Seriously it's a concern, but since we full time we don't have a lot of choice. Almost if not all of the southern destinations are currently hot spots with plenty of folks who don't care or don't think they'll get it or if they do it's no big deal, it makes for tough choices. On the other hand when we returned to KS we had to go thru Texas and Oklahoma and since we pulled our home behind us we never interacted with anyone. Used clorox wipes and hand sanitizer at the gas pumps and ate and used the bathroom in our rig.

We are going down to South Padre Island for November thru the 1st of 2021. We will be staying at Holiday (KOA) Camp grounds
If this virus goes away. If we are still under warnings we will not be going anywhere...

We live in Bexar County just outside San Antonio and it is bad in Texas if you should get sick (with anything). Hospitals are full and 10 to 12 people are dying of the virus each day in just my county with the numbers only going up. Otherwise, with the exception of wearing masks, it seems like business as usual. Bars were reclosed but Restaurants are open at 50% capacity. Lots of big families in this area and they like to gather it appears. They slowed the get togethers during the Stay at Home order but resumed quickly after it was lifted. Just my opinion but if they would have kept things shut down one more month, then did lots of tracing, we may have beaten it. Instead they opened and the shut down was a total waste.
Due to our age and medical conditions, we have stayed home and only gone to the grocery about once every two weeks. We do delivery food once a week to break the monotony. We cancelled our 6 month western road trip because of all the park and travel restrictions in April and May. However, we can't take it anymore and will pull the Monty to Michigan to visit 4 adult Children/9 Grandkids in August and September. With the virus so bad here in Texas, what difference does it make? The way it is spreading across the country, I don't think it will matter where you are by fall. RVing seems a lower risk activity than many others.

Here's a link from KSAT news from Sunday, 7/19 that sheds a little light on Bexar county;

We were planning to, but... we have concerns. I think as long as we're practicing social distancing and wearing masks in public locations per guidelines and being situationally aware of those that are not heeding those guidelines... we should be okay. Not going to get panicky over reports of hotspots... the odds of contracting COVID are still comparatively low and the chance of being a fatality to it are also low but that does not mean the coast is clear. Prudent precautions are the order of the day. Ignoring common sense is not an option. That is not living in fear either. At the end of the day, FTers are going to be heading south to all the usual places out of necessity cuz being in subzero weather in January truly sucks whether you live in a S&B or an RV.

Still planning 4 months in Victoria. We can distance there as well as we can in Minnesota, and it’ll be a lot warmer.

Going south?
We have reservations in Tucson AZ area in Jan. But will have to see what lies ahead. Won't go if things don't ease up.

We were going to Mission but changed when infections started rising in S TX. We’ll be staying in Hobbs NM. We’re currently in Eagle Nest NM. Very few infections in the county and no deaths. NM seems to be the only southern state with a handle on the virus.

Having lived in Hobbs for decades in the past I would wonder why you would want to go there? Absolutely nothing unless you like the smell of natural gas and oil in the air. Combine that with the barren desert and 1/2 the population being from TX (about 3 miles to TX border) and it's a pretty bleak place. Now Eagles Nest? I'd stay there all summer.

We are still considering the Bolivar Peninsula area. If we can find outside grocery pickup or delivery, we would use it like we are now. We were stuck in Colorado last winter and are not looking forward to being in cold territory.

WE usually go to the RGV for 4 months. Will wait and see what it is like in November before we make a final decision.

We'll be heading for AZ come January. We figure the virus will be frozen by that time and it will be after the elections in November and everything will be settled down by then! LOL
