adherring objects in our camper
I am looking for a clear like gel that is similiar to rubber cement that will adhere any object within the camper like a lamp or decorations securely so when driving it will not fall over, but can be easily removed without leaving a mark. But to no avail I am unable to find it on the internet. Someone told me it might be called miracle gel but when I searched I came up with zilch. Help!!

We use the 3-M strips for wall hangings, you might look into that.

I use "Stay Putty" it is reusable & removable adhesive. In quake areas the museums use it to keep things stable. And it will not damage fastening surface. Cost 3.99 picked up at a Michaels Craft store.

We too are using the 3-M products to hang items on the walls in our new 5er. So far so good!

patodonn, they are sticky, but when released they leave no trace. Made by 3-M, don't remember the name. I have two stuck on the Monte, outside. We had Christmas Chili pepper lights hung from them back at Christmas in Lake Havasu. Still stuck there firmly.

We use velcro for hanging family pictures, awards, clock, plaques, etc. Holds great and is easily removed using a hair dryer. We've attached pictures here and there and then removed them, removing the velcro with a hair dryer. Can't reuse the velcro but we buy it by the large industrial box from Wal-Mart and cut it to size.

Thank you all for your suggestions, but as I continued to search I found exactly what I was looking for. The gel is call MUSEUM GEL, or QUAKEHOLD GEL. Amazon among other craft sites sells it and I am even adding the web site so you can all view it for future reference. I had seen this stuff while in someone elses RV and couldn't believe it.

kjchamberlain1, I use the Museum Gel and it is great for holding some of our knick-knacks. Works best on glass or a real smooth surface. We have some treasurers on the shelf and no problem yet. We also use it at home in case of an earth quake. Cheep and easily removable, just push it into a ball and put it back into the jar.

I am not going to let my wife read this thread. She will be hanging things all over the trailer.
